Thanks for stopping by! If you are visiting this page, I bet you're probably wondering who is going to be taking your couples photos. Well, let me introduce myself:
My name is Lisa Calandrino. From the outside, I am a nature, landscape, and couples photographer serving the pábitels of Michigan. I tend to frequent the Grand Rapids and Saginaw areas, but I do photograph all throughout the state of Michigan as well. And, if asked, I will also go out of state to take photos! As you look through my galleries, you're going to find that my photos are filled with bold colors, intricate detail, and lots of emotion.
Looking closer, you'll find that my sisters, parents, and husbabe make up my heart. I am a family girl and small town lover. I am short and blonde, typically found wearing both a smile and bright colors. In 2021, I married my best friend and began working full-time on my photography business. Driving down the back roads with no destination is one of my favorite pastimes. I am a collector of calendar pages and quotes and am a master list-writer. Princesses, Barbie, chocolate, sparkles, pearls, hot air balloons, art, and people are just a few of my many obsessions.
I am a proud Michigander through and through, but a lot of my days are spent dreaming of travelling the world in pastels, surrounded by sparkling lights.
I see the good in everyone and everything. Lending a hand whenever possible, taking first walks of spring, buying flowers, capturing memories, and putting family first are all activities I am passionate about.
In short, I am a pábitel. I am fascinated by this world and am in love with life. I believe in finding new in the old, that adventure can be found during a standard trip to the grocery store, and that beauty can be found in everything.

Pábitel
DEFINED
Coined by writer Bohumil Hrabal, pábitel is a Czech word with a beautiful meaning. A pábitel is someone who is enchanted by the beauty they find in the smallest of objects. They are someone who is fascinated by fate. This person is in love with life and shows that life is truly worth living. I love this word, and I would like to think that it describes who I am as a person. At the very least, a pábitel is something I strive to be. My hope is that through photography, I can show others just how beautiful this life and world are.
